When I saw this collection, my mind immediately wandered to the first 2 seasons of Gossip Girl with Blair and her minions and their matching headbands and luxe uniform.
I can see someone like Alexa Chung or Carey Mulligan wearing this as they both love a peter pan collar, an it's cute/quirky without overloading on the 'icky sweet' factor.
(This dress in particular reminded me of the outfit worn by Blair in the pilot episode - the neck line may be higher, but I can see a definate resembanlence.)
I love the juxtoposition of the simple cut of the dresses and then the jewelled embellishments. This collection is something you would expect fashion forward Royals to be wearing - Monaco/Milan etc.
I am also loving that this collection is almost all black - you can't go wrong with black..or velvet...or lace..
