Just because something is the latest trend, doesn't mean it looks good. I hate the word trend and fashion to be quite frank. Both bring up a sense of a collective group of people doing the exact same thing, just because a higher group of people (designers/magazines) tell you it's 'in' that season. Magazines are extremely hypocrital, because I remember 2 years ago, baring your midriff was un-classy and trashy, and now they are promoting crop tops! Everyone said their one fashion faux pas from the 80's was the jumpsuit, and now apparently it's a wardrobe stable! The fashion world is full of hypocrisy. I have a love/hate relationship with it haha!
Oh, and just because you see Mary-Kate Olsen in a big black baggy dress and a load of layers on top-DOES NOT MAKE IT THE NEXT BIG THING!
Come on people, start thinking for yourselves, be original and daring, I promise you; you will be remembered!
